Yoga teacher training stage two commenced today. In the afternoon ‘adjustments’ session I found myself asking questions – something I do like to do. ‘Should the hips be square?’ ‘Should the toes be visible when you bend the knees?’ ‘Should the feet be together?’
To start with there’s a whole lot of ‘shoulds’ here and these can always be replaced with ‘coulds’! There are two other things that occur to me. Were the questions necessary and if so were they the most useful questions?
COULD I instead ask ‘Will this allow the connecting to flow?’ ‘Will this give opportunity for release to occur?’ ‘Will this open the heart?’
The good thing about life is that tomorrow is another day and another chance to live life in transformed ways. I think I’ll ask different questions…
