
Hummus
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup Chickpeas
- 4 Cups of Water
- 6 Cloves of Garlic
- ½ Cup Tahini
- ¼ Cup Olive Oil
- Juice of 1 Lemon
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- Optional – Roasted Veggies
Method:
- Soak the chickpeas overnight in the water.
- Boil the chickpeas until soft.
- Put the chickpeas into the blender with all the other ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
Variation:
I like to add left over roasted veggies to change the flavour profile. For example, beetroot or sweet potato or pumpkin or sometimes I add a combination.
